Third Moon Beer/ Rouge River Brewery “Blood River Prophecy” Review

My trip to Ontario proved fortuitous, as I was able to secure this 🔥 collab of two great breweries from the area. All of the Third Moon hazies I’ve tried have been smooth and creamy thanks to the base of fluffy oats, and this one is no different. The usual suspects Citra and Galaxy lend their typical fruit-forward flavors of mango, citrus and peach. I’m not getting the sharp spice from Riwaka that I’ve experienced in other applications of this eccentric NZ hop (eg. OH/Troon “Doom Showers”), but I’m quite alright with it and happy to have the former two shine. Finishes off with a gentle sweetness. I’m sad to deplete my last can of Third Moon, but I thoroughly enjoyed each one!
