đŁ This Stout is not what you might expect – which I love!
Itâs lighter in body than the majority of Dessert Stouts with similar flavours – especially among those with a high ABV like this one.
Peppermint dominates the flavour with chocolate supporting it and without a rich sweetness that typically accompanies the main flavour of a brew like this.
Instead, itâs lightly malty and only subtly creamy, making it taste mostly like a chocolate candy cane, with the cheesecake element taking a back seat.
