Matron Fine Beer Extra Cold (Pale Ale) Review

🗣 The joint goal of these two breweries was to make a light and slightly dryer Pale Ale, as well as something extra cold to drink on an extra hot summer day.

Brewed with Cascade hops from @pleasantvalleyhopsontario , this Pale Ale somehow tastes “cold”, even when it’s not, so they definitely accomplished their goal! 🥶

It’s a unique blend of soft and mildly bitter lemon and lime flavours that isn’t my favourite, but it isn’t bad at all.

💪 5.5%
🖍 Very hazy and pale yellow body with a medium-sized, creamy and frothy head.
👄 Medium-bodied with medium carbonation and a slick yet smooth mouthfeel.
👅 Dry fruity notes of lemon and lime freezie, apricot snow cone and peach slushy.
🏁 Light bitter finish.
