đŁ Like its title, Black Sunshine is sort of difficult to wrap your head around – especially when you see how dark it is for a Lager!
Aged in bourbon oak barrels, this Black Lager is surprisingly light-bodied relative to its deep appearance and flavour. Itâs also crisp, but perhaps more expectedly smooth as a dark beer.
It has a rich and lightly bitter espresso and chocolate flavour with an oak note that comes from its time spent aging on oak chips. This also gives the brew its deep, long-lasting, smooth and smoky bourbon oak finish.
Itâs a very approachable yet flavourful beer that you have to try!
