A zombie-themed beer is perfect for spooky season, although the party hat adorning this particular undead reveler is more whimsical than spooky 😜
My wife especially enjoys KCBC’s sours because despite their abundance of delicious adjuncts, they still taste assertively tart rather than cloyingly sweet. Initial flavors of sweet assorted berries give way to a pleasant tartness, which is further enhanced by the lemon towards the end. Thankfully the vanilla notes are very subdued and the milk sugar enhances the mouthfeel without imparting too much sweetness. Sours may not be my preferred style, but I enjoyed the little bit I was able to steal from my wife!
